Our onboarding process is designed to support serious authors with clarity and care while maintaining the trust, consistency, and high standards that shape the platform.
How to Get Started
- Create or log in to your account through the marketplace.
- Complete your author profile with your author name, bio, and current contact details.
- Create a new product in your vendor dashboard and add all required book information.
- Upload your cover image and downloadable book file, then confirm pricing and metadata.
- Submit your title for admin review before it goes live.
Required Product Information
- Book title and author name
- Genre selected from the marketplace genre list
- Synopsis / description written clearly for readers
- ISBN if available, or a required SKU / unique product ID
- Cover image sized and formatted for professional storefront display
- Price for the digital title
- Downloadable book file uploaded to the product as the customer download
Author Profile Expectations
- Use a consistent author name or pen name across listings.
- Add an author bio that explains your background, voice, or publishing focus.
- Keep your profile email and payout details current.
- Optional profile images should be clear and professional.
Submission Review Rules
Each submission should be complete before review. Listings should include the required metadata, reader-ready files, and professional presentation so the marketplace stays consistent and trustworthy.
- Incomplete listings may be returned for revision.
- Products should be submitted as downloadable titles with the correct book file attached.
- Descriptions, pricing, and identifiers should match the uploaded title.
- Only authorized, original, or properly licensed content may be submitted.
Pricing & Partnership
WritingToSoar operates on a commission-based partnership designed to keep our success aligned with yours. Rather than relying on complicated upfront costs, we earn a percentage when your book sells, giving authors access to a polished, professionally managed nationwide marketplace built to support visibility, trust, and long-term growth.
- You keep 80%, we keep 20% per book sold.
- Authors should keep account and payment details current to support smooth processing.
- Refunds, disputes, or policy issues may affect final payout amounts where applicable.
Content Standards
- Submit original work or content you are fully authorized to distribute.
- Provide accurate metadata, descriptions, and pricing.
- Avoid misleading, offensive, or low-quality listing content.
- Use professional formatting and reader-ready files.
